Soup is a very healthy food as it contain high Nutrients in it. We have many varieties in soup. Some of them are given here. Cook them and enjoy:-)

Skin Glow Soup

IngredientsSoup Special

2 small cucumbers
2 tbsp mint leaves
1 1/4 cups low fat yoghurt
salt to taste

Method

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Add a little cold water if the mixture is too thick.
  2. Serve chilled.

 

Thai Style Vegetbale Soup

Ingredients

3/4 cups mixed boiled vegetables (french beans, capsicum, baby corn etc.)
1/2 coconut
1/4 tsp aniseedsSoup Special
1 tsp chopped lemon grass
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp levelled, cornflour
salt to taste

Method

  1. Grate the coconut and add the aniseed and lemon grass.
  2. Add 2 cups of water, put in a mixer and stir for 1 minute.
  3. Strain and squeeze out the coconut milk.
  4. To the coconut milk, add the vegetables, cornflour and salt.
  5. Cook for a few minutes.
  6. Add the lemon juice.
  7. Serve hot.

 

Jain Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

1 cups peeled and chopped raw bananas
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1 tomatoes , chopped
1 tsp finely chopped parsleySoup Special
1/2 tbsp pure ghee
salt to taste
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder

Method

  1. Pressure cook all vegetables for 2 whistles with enough water.
  2. Cool and blend in the mixer till smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture and keep aside.
  4. Heat the ghee in a pan, add the parsley and saute for 20 seconds.
  5. Add the strained vegetable stock, salt and pepper, mix well and boil for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
